STELLA W. YAP is a partner of the Allan Law Group. STELLA W. YAP earned her undergraduate degree at UCLA and her law degree at Loyola Law School of Los Angeles, where she was a staff member on the International Law Review. Ms. Yap acts as business and legal affairs counsel for various individuals and corporations in the U.S. and China , assisting clients in the areas of selecting and forming their operating structures, negotiating and drafting agreements including non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, licensing, joint ventures, trademarks and copyright registration and enforcement. Ms. Yap is also counsel for a non-profit charitable foundation and is responsible for implementing and administrating programs to promote U.S. China relations and education through seminars, networking, and scholarship programs. Programs include providing scholarships for Chinese citizens pursuing graduate or post-graduate academic programs in major universities in the United States . Ms. Yap works with the foundation selection committee whose members include Professor Chen Jia Er, the former President of Beijing University and Professor Wan Gang, the President of Tongji University. Ms. Yap also currently sits on the Board of Trustees for UCLA's UniCamp program, one of the oldest student organized charities in the country. Each year, UniCamp sends nearly 1000 children from low-income families to its residential outdoor summer camp.
